Carpe Noctem - become a Mayo Dark Sky Ambassador!

    A one day workshop - September 28th, Mulranny Park Hotel

    This brand new course with expert speakers delivering training for dark sky community and environmental advocates and those wanting to learn more about preserving dark skies in Mayo, equipment needed and information on how to get involved and training on how to engage stakeholders and tailor your message.

    This free course includes lunch and is a full day of training from 10am-5pm approx


    Your Trainers:

    Dan Oakley is a professional dark sky expert and founding director of Darkscape Consulting. He has long experience of working in dark skies and is passionate about providing services to protect our connection the cosmos for people and our planet.

    Adrian Langan is from Mayo and has been supporting Dark Skies for a number of years. He is a PR consultant specialising in preparing clients for speeches, pitches, interviews, and presentations. Adrian also works in a voluntary capacity with many groups, encouraging people to develop their skills and confidence in public speaking.
